Culture is a complex system which includes knowledge, belief, morals, law, art, customs and other capabilities and habits acquired by man as a member of society.
فرهنگ مجموعه پيچيده اي است شامل دانشها، باورها، اخلاقيات، قانون، هنر، آداب و رسوم و ديگر توانايي ها و قابليت هايي كه به وسيله بشر كسب مي شود به عنوان يك عضوي از جامعه.
A culture is passed on to the next generation by learning, whereas genetics are passed on by heredity.
يك فرهنگ به نسل بعدی با یادگیری منتقل مي شود، در حالی که ژنتیک توسط وراثت منتقل می شود.
The discipline which investigates cultures is called anthropology.
رشته يا زمينه تحصيلي كه فرهنگ را بررسي مي كند انسان شناسي ناميده مي شود.

عناصر یک فرهنگ عبارتند از: زبان، ارزش ها، مذهب و اعتقادات، جایگاه و نقش آن در جامعه، یکپارچگی فرهنگی.
