ماری پیشنهادم را رد کرد.

Turn off = to stop the flow of or shut off by or as if by turning a control = خاموش کردن یا شدن

Well in hand = under control =تحت کنترل
After arguing for couple hours he said the situation is now well in hand.
بعد از دو ساعت دعوا کردن علی گفت شرایط حالا تحت کنترل است.
