Michael Schumacher remains in “stable” condition a month after suffering a severe head injury in a skiing accident, his manager told the BBC.

Sabine Kehm said Schumacher is still in a medically induced coma, dismissing as “speculation” a report by French sports daily L’Equipe that the seven-time Formula One champion was being woken. Schumacher has been in an induced coma since hitting his head on a rock while skiing in the French Alps on Dec. 29.
A former Formula One doctor who worked with Schumacher, Gary Hartstein, told the BBC it is “extremely unlikely” that the former driver will ever gain the level of health he had before the accident. Hartstein, however, also said Schumacher’s current state was encouraging.
“The fact that he is still sedated and not in an unsedated coma is better news than I expected,” he told the BBC.
A report in an Austrian news website last week said Schumacher was in danger of remaining in a persistent vegetative state.

Ferrari, one of Schumacher’s former teams, posted a message on its website Wednesday saying messages of affection have been pouring in for Schumacher ‘day after day,’adding one of its own:
Dear Michael, having spent so many years at Ferrari, you became one of us. You thrilled us so often, bringing us great joy, but the greatest one is yet to come: namely seeing you here in Maranello again, to meet your second family, the Ferrari one. We are waiting for you.
Mercedes, another of Schumacher’s other former teams, and the current Formula One world champion sent messages of support during Tuesday’s pre-season testing.
Mercedes included a message for Schumacher on the side of its new Formula One car, while four-time defending champion Sebastian Vettel said he was praying for his friend and countryman.

مدیر برنامه های مایکل شوماخر به بی بی سی اعلام کرد که وی پس از یک ماه از گذشت آسیب شدید مفزی در حادثه اسکی، همچنان وضعیتش پایدار است.
گزارشات حاکی از آن است که مایکل شوماخر ممکن است پس از این نصادف در همین حالت بیحرکت باقی بماند.
"سابین کم" گفته است که شوماخر هنوز در کمای پزشکی به سر میبرد، البته بدون در نظر گرفتن گزارشی توسط روزنامه ورزشی "L’equipe” فرانسه که ادعا کرده بود قهرمان فرمول یک هفت بار به هوش آمده بوده.
شوماخر از زمانیکه در تاریخ 29 دسامبر در کوههای آلپ فرانسه در حال اسکی سرش با سنگ برخورد کرد، در کمای پزشکی به سر میبرد.
"گری هارتستین" پزشک سابق قهرمان فرمول یک که با وی همماری داشته به بی بی سی گفه است : " بسیار بعید میدانم که وی دوباره بتواند سلامت قبل از این تصادف را به دست بیاورد".
البته وی اظهار داشته که وضعیت کنونی شوماخر امیدوار کننده است. در ادامه به بی بی سی گفت: " این حقیقت که او هنوز در کمایی آرام و با وضعیت ثابت است خبر خوشی محسوب میشود".
خبری در یک وبسایت اتریشی هفته پیش مبنی بر این بود که شوماخر در معرض خطر ماندن در حالت بی حرکت میباشد.
فراری، یکی از تیمهای سابق شوماخر، در وبسایت خود پیامی از مهربانی و شفقت برای وی گذاشته با مضمون " روزها در پی هم":
مایکل عزیز، سالهای زیادی را در فراری گذراندی، تو یکی از ما شدی، ما را به هیجان آوردی، برایمان شادی به ارمغان آوردی، اما بزرگترین هدیه ای که میتوانی به ما بدهی این است: نام تو، نام دومت فراری را دوباره اینجا در "مرانلو" ببینیم. منتظرت هستیم.
مرسدس، یکی دیگر از تیمهای سابق شوماخر و قهرمان کنونی فرمول یک جهان، پیامی حمایتگرانه در طول مسابقات روز سه شنبه برایش ارسال کرد:
پیام مرسدس برای او از طرف ماشین فرمول یک جدیدش بود، و قهرمان چهار دوره ای "سباستین وتل" گفت در طول مسابقات برای سلامت دوست و قهرمانش دعا میکرده.
