الف) معناي لغوي فرهنگ
كه پيشاوند است و در فارسي هخامنشي و اوستا به « فَر » در ادبيات و كلام فارسي، واژه فرهنگ : از دو بخش

با اين حال كاربرد اسم مستقل فرهنگ كه به اشاره بر فرايند كلي يا محصول چنين فرايندي باشد تا
اوايل سده هجدهم اوايل سده نوزدهم متداول نبوده است. فرهنگ به صورت اسم مستقل، نخست در زبان هاي
انگليسي و فرانسوي نمايان شد، در اواخر سده هجدهم به عنوان يك واژه فرانسوي وارد زبان آلماني شد و ابتدا به
نوشته و تلفّظ شده است. 3 «Kultur» و سپس به صورت «Cultur» صورت كالچر و
در مراجع فرانسوي نيز در معناي مشابه، به معناي بارور كردن، عمل بارور كردن (زمين)، يا كاري در جهت

اين تعاريف برآمده اند.
برخي، تعاريف فرهنگ را براساس گرايش هاي علوم اجتماعي تف كيك نموده اند، به عنوان مثال : تعريف
فرهنگ از زاويه انسان شناسي، مردم شناسي، جامعه شناسي، روان شناسي، قوم شناسي و غيره …، مورد بررسی
